Yarmouth Oyster Company was born out of a love for oysters and a passion for the ocean. Really, I needed a legitimate reason to spend every weekend on the water in my happy place. This in turn benefits you the oyster lover and our mother ocean! Not only do our little filter feeding friends clean the ocean but my intent is to contribute a portion of all sales to organizations dedicated to improving our waters.

Yarmouth oyster company was started in 2017 outside the Royal River in Casco Bay between Lanes Island and Little Mosier Island. The tides hear provide a great flow, good salinity and temperatures that promote solid growth. As with the majority of oyster farms on the east coast the oysters grown at Yarmouth Oyster Company are American Eastern's. The location and weekly tending are going to be the ingredients that make these oysters sought after.
